Genotype AC is associated with increased response to candesartan in people with Heart Failure as compared to genotype AA.

Subjects with the AC genotype had a greater decrease in N-terminal proB-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) over 6 months of treatment, as compared to AA homozygotes.
