Genotype AC is associated with increased response to fentanyl in healthy individuals as compared to genotype CC.
Volunteers with the AC genotype had a tendency towards a reduced systolic blood pressure following administration of fentanyl. There was no association between this variant and heart rate or QTc. Variant referred to as C523A in the paper.
