Network Policy on Intellectual Property

The Steering Committee supports and encourages the prompt dissemination of potentially functional genetic information through the PharmGKB and recommends the adoption of intellectual property strategies that promote such dissemination. One such strategy is the filing of initial provisional patent applications followed by utility patents, with the final decision to be made by the filing institution.

The Pharmacogenomics Research (PGRN) members agree to use the following forms:
